Drugs & Terror

It's undeniable. Drug use causes terrorism. That dime bag of pot you bought is the reason the terrorist were able to attack the World Trade Center. So while you were high, the kid who sold you the pot was sending the money straight to Osama himself, enabling him to kill thousands of people. Are you happy? Satisfied? Do you still call pot "harmless"?

Now you may ask yourself why the pot dealers would send their money to Arab terrorists when the pot was grown and distributed domestically, but you shouldn't ask yourself that question. Why do you question what we say? Are you really that unpatriotic?

Okay, okay, okay. So pretty much no money from marijuana use goes to fund terrorism, but money from many other drugs does go to terrorists.

Just look at ecstacy... Hmmmm. Okay, so not much if any of the profits of ecstacy go to fund terrorism. Speed? Meth? Crank? PCP? 'K'? Prescription drugs? Pain killers? Okay, so those don't fund terrorism either.

But wait! We've got you on cocaine and heroin! Some cocaine profits get into the hands of Colombian terrorists and some of the profits from heroin go to help Middle Eastern terrorists. So there. Told you.

So now that we all agree that at least some fraction of some drugs goes to terrorism, we can get on with our article.

We here at quaap.com's anti-drug site are obviously very concerned about illegal drug money funding terrorism. So, we propose legalizing those drugs. That way none of the money will get to the terrorists. This may seem like a radical step for an anti-drug site to take, but since we are so incredibly concerned about drug money going to fund terrorism, we are willing to take these measures to ensure that none of the money from addicts of cocaine and herion would fall into the terrorists' hands.

We hope you'll ask some of the other anti-drug organizations to support us in this endeavor.

"It's so important for Americans to know that the keeping drugs illegal finances the work of terror, sustaining terrorists, that terrorists use drug profits to fund their cells to commit acts of murder. If you work to legalize drugs, you join the fight against terror in America."

-President George W. Bush
