US Presidential Candidates:
        the anti-drug

Every four years, the United States of America selects a President. This person should be a good citizen: honest, law abiding, and most importantly, not a convicted felon.

This person is charged with protecting us all by helping to enforce our laws. We want someone who'll even enforce laws they themselves have broken, and even laughed about breaking. The only requirement is they must not have been caught breaking those laws.

A President should even enforce a law which could have put that same President in a federal prison, and would therefore probably never have been elected at all. The President should do this because... well, just because.

So when your favorite presidential candidate admits to smoking marijuana, but then doesn't even attempt to consider to talk about starting a motion to decriminalize marijuana or remove minimum mandatory sentencing for drug use, it isn't hypocritical, it's just what a president is supposed to do.
